CRISTIANO RONALDO'S penalty against Paris Saint-Germain had viewers scratching their heads - after the ball mysteriously moved on the spot.
Real Madrid drew level after Giovani Lo Celso was penalised for pulling back Toni Kroos inside the box.
Of course the honour from 12 yards went to Ronaldo, who drove low and left past the outstretched arm of PSG keeper Alphonse Areola to notch his 100th Champions League goal for Los Blancos.
There was nothing wrong with Ronaldo's strike, but just before he made contact the ball appeared to rise slightly off the turf.
And social media lit up with speculation about what could have caused the bizarre movement - with Ronaldo's former team-mate Rio Ferdinand even claiming he made the ball move on purpose.
Ferdinand said: "I swear to you. Crazy. He used to it in training."
One user wrote: "Ronaldo used black magic to make the ball levitate so he could volley the penalty.
Biggest winner in the history of sport."
Another posted: "Weird. Did something hit it?"
A fellow user said: "Anyone else notice the ball move before Ronaldo hit his penalty? Weird. Not a clue what caused it."
One viewer wrote: "How did the ball bobble when Ronaldo went to take the penalty?"
A fellow user said: "Bizarre Ronaldo penalty. Not sure if you can see it here but the ball pops up just before he hits in, basically ends up hitting it on the volley."
Amazingly that wasn't the only strange occurrence Ronaldo had to put up with.
While he was lining up his kick, a laser was shone directly into his face.
And Ronaldo appeared to take notice of it, seemingly closing his eyes for a short period before beginning his run-up.
