How tall is Xherdan Shaqiri?

Shaqiri is 1.69 metres tall, or 5ft 7in, making him one of the smallest players in the Swiss and Liverpool sides.

But he will not be the tiniest star on the Anfield pitch against Chelsea, with the Blues' World Cup winner N'Golo Kante a centimetre shorter.

Who is Xherdan Shaqiri and how old is the Liverpool star?

Xherdan Shbaqiri was born in Gjilan, Yugoslavia on October 10, 1991. He is 26 years old and is from Kosovian descent.

A product of Basel's youth set-up, Shaqiri made his full club debut in July 2009 in Basel's opening game of the season.

In his time with the club, Shaqiri won the national double twice and three league titles before moving to Bayern Munich in 2012.

Despite not taking part in the final, Shaqiri won the Champions League with Bayern Munich as the side secured the league title and German Cup to win the first treble in the club's history.

Stoke signed Shaqiri on a five-year deal in 2015 for a club record transfer fee of 12million as he went on to score 15 goals for the side in 92 appearances in all competitions.

Liverpool triggered Shaqiri's 13 million release clause and signed him in July 2018, scoring on his debut for the club in a friendly against rivals Manchester United in a 4-1 win.

Shaqiri made his international debut in 2010 and was included in the 23-man Swiss squad for this summer's World Cup.

He scored the winning goal in a 2-1 win over Serbia, causing controversy with an eagle celebration alongside Granit Xhaka which saw the pair receiving fines from Fifa for evoking a political gesture.
