Who won the Ryder Cup?

EUROPE have reclaimed the Ryder Cup after a nail-biting final day at Le Golf National.

Starting the Sunday 10-6 up following two brilliant days, the European's needed to keep their nerve in the singles to reach that magic 14 and a half mark.

And despite the Americans threatening an afternoon fightback, there were big wins as John Rahm defeated Tiger Woods andThorbjrn Olesen stunned Jordan Spieth.

That European momentum continued down the back-9 as Ian Poulter once again whipped the crowd into a frenzy.

And it was the 'Postman' who delivered once again on the Ryder Cup stage, beating world number one Dustin Johnson in a thrilling match that went all the way to the 18th.

Which player holed the winning putt?

POULTER'S heroics set Europe up for the big finish - and it was only a shame that the Englishman wasn't the one to seal the victory.

In fact there was no winning putt at all as Phil Mickelson drove into the water and conceded to Francesco Molinari, who made it FIVE points out of five.
