But a question mark must hang over Mane's fitness after the Mail reported he spent 30 minutes at Liverpool's Spire Hospital today.

The Reds host Stoke in the Premier League this Saturday before travelling to the Italian capital on Wednesday with a 5-2 lead for their Champions League semi-final return leg.

Mane hit the third Liverpool goal against Roma at Anfield and played the whole 90 minutes, seemingly untroubled.

But Roma would surely love to see the 26-year-old miss the second leg.

That is because Mane, Roberto Firmino and especially Mo Salah form arguably the best counter-attacking frontline in the world.

"Thank God [Georginio] Wijnaldum played fantastic as well, but thats a serious injury and with our squad situation at the moment its of course not really cool.

And we all know the best thing is that if you want to go to semi-final, finals and win important games in the league, you need a full squad.

So we have to find solutions and be creative and thats what we will try to be.
