MONKEY invaders targeted Ian Poulter on the Nedbank Golf Challenge course.
But the English ace stayed cool where many might have gone ape just two days before the European Tour event in Sun City starts.
The Ryder Cup veteran, 41, will hope to attract birdies just as easily as he did furry freeloaders when he chases glory at the Gary Player Country Club this week.

One or two of the monkeys - perhaps recognising a true golfing superstar when they see one - were soon literally eating out of his hand.
Many players will struggle to tame this course - but few will expect such wild visitors.

In fact, baboons have been known to trundle off with golf balls, while monkeys have nipped at the ankles of some club members.
Play has reportedly been suspended due to mongooses - and warthogs can roam along the gallery.
So it seems golf's strict rules and etiquette can be a real pig for some players - but you will not get a roasting if you happen to be a warthog wandering on to the course during play.
