TOTTENHAM fans were lambasted on Twitter after leaving early during the Champions League defeat to Juventus.

Spurs took the lead in the first half, but were pegged back through goals from Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala.

The 2-1 scoreline meant they were heading out unless they could get that equaliser to send the tie to extra-time.

But some Tottenham fans appeared to completely lose faith and were seen heading for exit doors with time still remaining.

Twitter users slammed the supporters for their acts, insisting they should stay to clap the players off.

One cheeky Juve fan rubbed salt in the wounds by holding up an Arsenal shirt as his side celebrated the victory.
