OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER celebrated one of Manchester Uniteds great European nights - by giving his players a day off.

The caretaker boss told his squad only injured players needed to report to the clubs Carrington HQ the morning after their stunning comeback against Paris Saint-Germain.

After getting back to Manchester in the early hours of this morning, he made the most of his time off to pop to the dry cleaners in Hale and get his lucky suit ready and pressed for Sunday's game against Arsenal.

Usually managers ask players to undergo regen work the day after a Champions League match.

During those warm-down sessions they recover muscles and never do more than light work.

But spending a day with their families has increased the positivity Solskjaer has injected since taking over from Jose Mourinho in December.

Solskjaer has totally transformed the feel-good factor at United - and it rocketed even further after the last-gasp win at the Parc des Princes.

It shows no sign of fading any time soon too, as days off are valuable currency for players to spend time with loved ones and switch off from football.

Defender Victor Lindelof helped keep PSG dangerman Kylian Mbappe at bay last night alongside Chris Smalling.

And the Swede celebrated by heading out in Manchester with pregnant wife Maja Nilsson - and took to Instagram to let his followers know.

Fellow defender Phil Jones headed out for a stroll with wife Kaya Hall and their baby Alaria while goalkeeper David De Gea was also spotted out for lunch with a mate in Hale.

Jones has been out of action in recent weeks but did sign a new contract at Old Trafford last month to keep him at the club until 2023.

Solskjaer will have the players back on Friday, giving them enough time to prepare for Sunday afternoon's trip to the Emirates.
