MANCHESTER UNITED legend Phil Neville has declared only two Red Devils players would get in Paris Saint-Germain's side following last night's defeat.
While the England women's boss believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men have no chance of making it through to the Champions League quarter-finals.
PSG inflicted a first defeat on United since Solskjaer succeeded Jose Mourinho as they eased to a 2-0 victory thanks to goals from Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappe.
Both Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard limped out of the clash, while Paul Pogba was sent off late on after a challenge on Dani Alves.
And Neville, who spent 11 years at Old Trafford, has claimed his former employers are nowhere near the level of top European teams - despite winning ten out of their previous 11 games.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live, the 42-year-old said: "There shouldn't be an over-reaction, there has to be some realism on where this group of players are at.
"We said before the game that this result wouldn't define Ole Gunnar Solksjaer. These players are not at the level of the top European teams.
"How many players would get into this PSG team? Maybe two? Paul Pogba and David De Gea.
"I don't think Manchester United have any chance in Paris [in the return leg]. PSG have too much European nous, too much class.
"Even though we didn't see Mbappe at his absolute best, he was still devastating."
Solskjaer admitted that United's loss was a reality check, but has vowed the defeat will not prove to be a season-defining one as they look to finish in the top four.
While he was also critical of Alexis Sanchez's performance after the Chilean failed to make an impact at the Theatre of Dreams.
Speaking of the ex-Arsenal ace, he said: "I can't do anything about Alexis Sanchez.
"When he plays he needs to find himself."
