JOSE Mourinho has escaped any disciplinary action for his bizarre Champions League goal celebration.
The Manchester United boss responded to Marouane Fellainis injury-time winner against Young Boys Berne by picking up a crate of water bottles in the technical area and hurling them to the ground.
Under Premier League rules, Mourinho would have been facing a touchline ban for his antics.
But Uefa regulations are not so strict and there are no automatic punishments for managers for such conduct.
Uefas appointed match delegate, German Rainer Koch, made no mention of Mourinho or any other issues arising out of the match in his official report.
That is the end of the matter as far as Uefa is concerned, with the European governing body content the United chiefs reaction to the goal was understandable in the circumstances and did not go too far.
And there was no mention in the match report earlier this month when Mourinho was accused of potentially inciting Juventus fans by putting his hands to his ear in the aftermath of Uniteds comeback victory in Turin.
Mourinhos odd response to Fellainis goal was far less likely to inflame any tensions inside Old Trafford.

The United boss also came under-fire for his reaction to Marcus Rashford's first-half miss at Old Trafford.
He turned to the home fans, crossed his arms and shrugged his head after the England international chipped his effort over the bar.
