DANNY WILLETT has split with coach Pete Cowen and teamed up with Tiger Woods' ex-guru Sean Foley.
Yorkshire-born Willett was coached by Cowen when he won the Masters in 2016 following Jordan Spieth's back-nine collapse.
But his form has nosedived since that Major breakthrough and that has led to him parting ways with the revered swing expert.
Willett, whose new man Foley also looks after Justin Rose, teamed up for the first time on Tuesday ahead of the first round of the USPGA at Quail Hollow.
He is in desperate need of help having finished last on 21-over-par in last week's WGC Bridgestone Invitational.
And that dismal showing appears to have been the final straw in Willett and Cowen's relationship.
Willett also parted ways with caddie and close mate Jonathan Smart earlier this year.
He has struggled with back problems, too, which he says have occurred in the past due to poor technique in his swing.
Foley, a deep-thinker who failed to help Woods add to his 14-Major tally, worked with the former world No 1 - who has pleaded not guilty to a driving under the influence charge - from 2010 to 2014.
He has helped Willett's fellow Englishman Rose to a US Open trophy and career high spot of third in the world rankings.
