While NBA star Kobe Bryant tweeted: "AMAZING NIGHT FOR THE REDS. WOW #YNWA".

Arsenal fan Piers Morgan added: "INCREDIBLE!!!!!

But the jeers turned to cheers as Origi and Wijnaldum took their chances to stun hapless Barca.

Tottenham take on Ajax tomorrow looking for their own comeback - albeit from not quite as formidable a position.

Spurs lost 1-0 at White Hart Lane but will hope the returning Son Heung-min can fire them to Madrid.
