 Tiger Woods now has five green jackets to his name

TIGER WOODS claimed his fifth green jacket with a stunning victory at the Masters.

The former world No 1 had gone 11 years without winning a major.

However, wearing his traditional Sunday red shirt, Woods won by one shot.

But how exactly did he triumph at Augusta?

The Sun recaps his magical performance hole by hole.

Hole 1 (Par 4 - 445 yards) PAR -11

Woods tees off his for his final round and booms it down the fairway.

His second shot is delightful as he lands on the dance floor but spins back

Presented with a birdie opportunity of around 20ft, Woods putts to the left of the hole and he safely holds for par.

Hole 2 (Par 5 - 575 yards) PAR -11

While he had hit some nice fades, he gets into a bit of trouble and overcooks his tee shot.

But he scrambles to save par.

A long curling putt for birdie doesn't trouble the hole.

But he safely sinks the par putt.

Hole 3 (Par 4 - 350 yards) BIRDIE -12

Woods, unlike playing partner Tony Finau, decides to leave his driver in the bag and it proves to be the right play as he keeps it on the fairway.

Hole 4 (Par 3 - 240 yards) BOGEY -11

Woods pays the price for under-clubbing as his tee shot rolls back off the green.

He chips up but is still 10ft short

Tiger's atttempt to save par lips out and he is back to -11.

Hole 5 (Par 4 - 495 yards) BOGEY -10

Woods trots up to the newly-extended fifth hole and he drills down the middle, splitting the fairway.

However his approach shot finds a treacherous part of the green.

Tiger's 35ft attempt is way off target and he twirls his putter in frustration.

The par attempt misses to the right of the cup.

His second bogey sees him drop to -10, and he slips three shots behind leader Francesco Molinari.

Hole 6 (Par 3 - 180 yards) PAR -10

Woods saves par at the sixth.

Woods sends one from the tee that lands to within 11 feet of the pin.

It's a great birdie chance but his putt slides down the left of the hole.

Hole 7 (Par 4 - 450 yards) BIRDIE -11

Woods drive is perfect, in the middle of the fairway.

He then fires in a beautiful approach to within 18 inches of the hole.

It's a simple tap-in for birdie that sends the Augusta fans wild.

Hole 8 (Par 5 - 570 yards) BIRDIE -12

Tiger goes for the green in two but he leaches his second shot off to the right.

The error leaves him in a spot of bother behind a TV tower to the right of the green.

But Woods shows his powers of recovery with a nerveless chip that bounces off the fringe of the green and rolls to around eight feet from the hole.

He rattles home for birdie and he is back to -12 to keep pace with Molinari.

Hole 9 (Par Four - 460 yards) PAR -12

Woods is right back at the edge of green, in two and is left with a huge putt of around 70 foot.

But he judges his lag putt to near perfection.

Tiger barely touches it and it starts out heading off the green.

But the veteran of Augusta was on fire, and the ball rolls to six inches.

A simple par and he goes out in 35 on the front nine.

Hole 10 (Par Four - 495 yards) BOGEY - 11

Woods missed the fairway with his three wood, into the trees.

He was forced to chip out.

His third shot lands on the green but rolls off to the fringe.

But he falls short as he tries to scramble for par and has to settle for bogey, which puts him two shots behind Molinari with eight to play.

Hole 11 (Par Four - 505 yards) PAR -11

Woods produces a miraculous approach at 11.

He pushed his drive right, and it ended up among the spectators, on some trampled on grass.

However he had a clear view between the pine trees to the hole, and a decent lie.

The ball draws perfectly through the opening, lands on the green, then rolls down towards the hole.

Although he whistles his 20ft birdie attempt past the hole, he saves his par from about three feet.

Hole 12 (Par Three - 155 yards) PAR -11

After seeing his playing partner Molinari put his approach shot into Rae's Creek,Woods plays a conservative tee shot at Golden Bell into the centre of the green.

It left him with a long birdie putt, which comes up short.

But he nervelessly holes a five footer for par and he walks off the green in a share of the lead after Molinari's double bogey.

Hole 13 (Par Five - 510 yards) BIRDIE -12

Tiger played aggressively off the, flirting with the trees on the left, but his drive ended up perfectly in the middle of the fairway.

Woods gives himself a chance at eagle with safe approach shot.

But his putt down the ridge falls a couple of feet short and he takes a birdie instead.

Hole 14 (Par Four - 440 yards) PAR -12

Ideal drive, and fine approach gives him 15ft putt for birdie.

But it's par as his putt slides just past the right.

Hole 15 (Par Five - 530 yards) BIRDIE -13

Level with Molinari with four to play, this was when Tiger came alive, and claimed the prize.

His drive found the right side of the fairway, leaving him the perfect line for the green.

His approach clears the water hazard easily, and Woods is left with a 40ft putt for eagle.

The eagle attempt has the perfect pace, leaving him a tap-in for birdie to take the lead outright for the first time in the tournament.

Hole 16 (Par Three - 170 yards) BIRDIE -14

Another stunning tee shot lands right of the flag and dribbles down toward the hole.

It was just inches away from dropping for what would have been a hole in one.

But he has a simple tap-in as he leads by two and inches closer to the coveted green jacket.

Hole 17 (Par Four - 440 yards) PAR -14

Drive down the middle and agorgeous approach from Woods sets up a birdie chance.

However this one rollsby and it's another par.

Hole 18 (Par Four - 465 yards) BOGEY -13

Tiger has a two-shot lead, and knows a bogey is enough.

It's not how Woods would have liked to finish the tournament but it will certainly do.

His approach shot is loose, and left and he is left with a nervy chip

But he pulls off the shot, and gives himself 12footer for par.

The ball won't oblige and Tiger tosses his putter in the air in frustration.

But the bogey from six inches goes in, and he roars in celebration to finishon -13, one ahead of Dustin Johnson, Xander Schauffele and Brooks Koepka.
