JULIAN SURI is preparing to play the first Major of his career - without his golf clubs.
The American has had four WEEKS of baggage issues and is currently using a makeshift set at Royal Birkdale.
No wonder the 26-year-old vented his anger on social media.
He wrote: "Welcome to the Open where the players play with imaginary golf clubs."
Suri called the situation with his clubs "ridiculous" and claims that after 48 hours of not knowing where they are he still remains in the dark.
He believes the clubs were misplaced somewhere on a flight between Rome and Manchester.
Suri said: "It's been kind of a pain. But the guys in the equipment trucks are working on putting together a set for me so I can practice."
And he wrote on Twitter: "Ridiculous that after 48 hours i can't get a call back from @vueling about my golf clubs. Turns out they are my career #neveragain.
"For those keeping count, I'm on my 4th (fourth) week in a row of having missing baggage. On a direct flight too!
However, what makes it even worse is the fact Suri plays with Nike irons.
The sports brand giant left the club-making business last year, but fortunately copies of their clubs remain on the equipment trucks at Birkdale.
Suri looks set to be on the Europan Tour next season after winning once and bagging two other top-three finishes to lead the Challenge Tour money list.
Hopefully he'll have his clubs back by then.
