DANNY WILLETT made a card-wrecking EIGHT on the first hole of his second round after a shank into the trees.

The defending Masters champion was teetering on the edge of a bunker when he sent the ball flying off to the right.

From there his third shot was actually pretty good and just rolled off the side of the green on the 445-yard par-four.

But then a clumsy chip rolled back to his feet while his second attempt had too much steam and ran off the front of the putting surface.

The Yorkshireman then chipped to six feet and two-putted from there for a quadruple bogey.

Willetteventually carded a six over 78 to finish seven over overall and miss the cut in his first defence of a Major.
