MASON GREENWOODS Manchester United debut was so unexpected that the youngster had to take to the field wearing PSG shirt numbering.
The 17-year-old striker was a shock inclusion on the bench for Uniteds incredible comeback win over the French champions in Wednesdays Champions League last-16 second-leg clash.
Greenwood came off the bench to make his first senior appearance for the Red Devils minutes before Marcus Rashford booked Uniteds place in the quarter-finals with a last-gasp penalty in Paris.
Injuries and suspensions to ten regulars forced Ole Gunnar Solskjaer into naming Greenwood as one of his seven sub options alongside three other youngsters.
And supporters were delighted when the whizzkid was introduced with United chasing a goal.
However, all was not as it seemed when Greenwood took to the field, as the print of his shirt number and name did not match those of his team-mates on the field.

And it quickly became clear that nobody was expecting the teenager to even be in the matchday squad, let alone on the pitch.
The incident amused many fans, who took to Twitter to express their delight at Greenwoods kit as well as the result.
