Ferdinand checks on Hoddle after Moura's unbelievable last-gasp winner

GARY LINEKER and Rio Ferdinand check on Glenn Hoddle's heart as the Spurs legend celebrates Lucas Moura's astonishing last-gasp winner against Ajax last night.

Hoddle suffered a heart attack while working for BT Sport last October and clutched his chest again when the forward netted his hat-trick to book their spot in the final.

England greats Lineker and Ferdinand reacted in shock to the second amazing comeback in as many nights after Liverpool achieved the impossible against Barcelona.

But Hoddle, 61, could only stand and stare in utter disbelief at Mauricio Pochettino's side's heroics.

And that prompted Ferdinand to jokingly put his hand on Hoddle's chest and ask "Are you OK? Are you all right?"

Ferdinand posted the clip on his Instagram page with the caption: "Glenn, are you OK... are you OK."

And fellow Three Lions legend Ian Wright replied: "Ri! You meant to be looking after the Gaffer."

Homeland star Damian Lewis tweeted: "Can't stop laughing at this. Glenn Hoddle looks like he's falling off a ladder."

Hoddle told SunSport how he died for 60 seconds during his cardiac arrest, which occurred on his 61st birthday.

He smashed his head on the floor when he collapsed and broke seven ribs.

But last night he spoke of how grateful and fortunate he felt to witness another unforgettable night of football.

He said: "I'm so glad I'm still around to see this. I've been a Tottenham fan since I was eight years old."

Hoddle jokingly touched his chest again after Spurs' win over Man City in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Ferdinand posted a photo of Hoddle with the caption "This ain't good for this man's heart."
