ALEXIS SANCHEZ reportedly suffered a bizarre injury after running into a linesman while warming up.

The Chilean winger, 30, was told to get ready when Jesse Lingard went down with a hamstring injury.

And the Daily Mail claims he ran straight intoFabiano Preti after getting caught ball-watching while jogging down the touchline.

Sanchez was apparently floored by the accident and suffered a knee injury but recovered in time to come on.

He spent the half-time break warming up on the field and played the second half as Paris Saint-Germain won 2-0.

The 500,000-a-week star is one of the few players not to see their form pick up under caretaker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

And the Norwegian boss said the former Arsenal ace has to find his own answers after a miserable year at Old Trafford.

Lingard and Anthony Martial are doubts to face Chelsea in the FA Cup on Monday, which could hand Sanchez a chance to impress if fit.
