SOME people think all I ever eat is red meat mostly raw but thats not true. Id be the size of a house if I did!

I try to eat healthily scrambled eggs or porridge and fruit for breakfast, fish, chicken or pasta for lunch and the same type of thing for dinner. My problem is Im a compulsive comfort eater.

When Im on the road its takeaways and junk food and at home I do love a good barbecue.

One of my mates sent me a picture of the brisket he was cooking on the BBQ. I couldnt wait to get stuck into that big boy!

HERES a true story to show what a crazy game golf can be.

My brother, James, stopped playing for a few years, then five years ago he told me he fancied a knock.

So we played six holes and he was terrible. I persuaded him to finish the front nine and at the par-three ninth he threw a ball down, smacked it without a practice swing and it took a couple of bounces and went straight in! And that was it. He packed his clubs away and hasnt played since!

The hole-in-one I got at Wentworth last year was my fifth and a huge moment in my career.

I won a BMW and spotted one of my mates by the ropes and did a flying chest bump.

It got thousands of views on YouTube and gave me the confidence to be myself people seem to like that.

I also got a hole-in-one at the Scottish Open the year before and won 168 bottles of champagne. It lasted nearly two years!

I WAS cheeky at school and got into trouble for not doing my homework.

Id tell the teachers I was too busy playing golf and theyd ask me where I thought that would get me.

But I went back to the school for a prize-giving evening only a few weeks ago.

One of my old teachers said: So this is where all the golf was going to get you. I liked that.

I GOTmy nickname when I was 12. My hair was a lot curlier then I guess its thinning out a bit from stress and it stuck out like an afro.

I was out playing the course here when one of the older guys, Mark Kniller, shouted across: Hey Andrew, whats happening with your hair? You look like youve got a Beef Head.

By the time I finished the round hed told everyone what he said, and Ive been known as Beef ever since.

My beard is my other trademark. Ive tried growing one a few times - mainly because one of my favourite rappers, Scroobious Pip, has a killer beard - and shaved it off because it didnt look right.

But I let it grow fair bit last year, and at the Portugal Masters a few of the other players came up and started tugging on it, saying whats going on here Beef.

I wasnt going to give them the satisfaction of shaving it off, and Im going to stick with it this time. Plus Scroobious Pip actually started following me on Twitter during the Open, and messaged me saying thanks for giving him a name check. Unreal!
