GARETH BALE has admitted it is an "honour" to be linked with a move to Bayern Munich.
Real Madrid take on the German giants once again tonight in what is the Champions League's most played fixture with a place in the final at stake.
Ahead of the match, Bale, 28, was asked about a hypothetical transfer to Bayern, and told Sport Bild: "In football, you can never say never.
"Right now, I am playing and enjoying my football in Madrid.
"Bayern have a fantastic team and, in the past, have always been one of the biggest teams, who have enjoyed a lot of success in Europe.
"To be linked with a club like this is an honour for anyone but right now I am a Real Madrid player."
One major obstacle Real Madrid will have to overcome if they are to reach a third-straight Champions League final is lethal Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski.
The Pole has been a long-term transfer target for Los Blancos, and Bale believes he would be a success.
He added: "Lewandowski has the qualities for Real Madrid. [He is] one of the best strikers in the world and a guarantee of goals for Bayern and his national side.
"We know he is a danger in the games against us. He is a a superb finisher and for this reason, you need to keep our eye on him."
