CRISTIANO RONALDO has scored more goals on his own in the Champions League than Manchester United managed as a team since 2009.
That was the year in which the Portuguese superstar completed a then world-record move to the Bernabeu.
Ronaldo, who has joined Serie A giants Juventus in a 99million deal, bagged 105 Champions League goals during nine unforgettable years.
Man Utd as a whole managed just 99 in 61 games during that same period from the 2009-10 season.
They reached the final in 2011 but lost 3-1 to Barcelona after being played off the park.
Since then the best they have done is being knocked out in the quarter-final stage to Bayern Munich in April 2014. United played in the Europa League in 2011-12, 2015-16 and won the second-tier competition in 2016-17.
In terms of goals alone, Ronaldo, 33, by himself would be a formidable opponent in Europe's top competition.
Paris Saint-German scored 122, Arsenal 125 and Chelsea 141 during that same period from 2009.
The top three teams for Champions League goals scored in that period are Real Madrid on 156 (excluding Ronaldo's goals), Barcelona on 220 and Bayern Munich on 237.
Funnily enough, one of Ronaldo's most incredible records is against his new employers.

He is the top scorer in Champions League history with 120 - some 20 more than Lionel Messi.
Ronaldo's 34 assists in the Champions League are another record, while his 17 goals in 2013-14 - the year Real Madrid completed 'La Decima' is the best in a single campaign.
On top of that, his seven Champions League hat-tricks are a shared record with Lionel Messi and he is the only player to score in three Champions League finals.
