DAVID BECKHAM returned to Old Trafford today as he reunited with Manchester United legends for their 1999 Champions League final rematch.

The former England captain, 44, took time to catch up with old friends before they pulled on their red shirts together again.

Beckham posed for snaps with Andy Cole, Gary Neville and kitman Albert Morgan in the dressing room as the treble-winning squad look to recreate their magic 20 years on.

He was also spotted chatting with Dwight Yorke as the retired squad got ready for the big game.

Sir Alex Ferguson has gone for a similar Manchester United team to the one that famously beat Bayern Munich at the Nou Camp.

Peter Schmeichel starts in goal with a back four of Gary Neville, Jaap Stam, Ronny Johnsen and Denis Irwin in front of him.

In midfield, Jesper Blomqvist, Beckham and Nicky Butt keep their places 20 years on.

But with Ryan Giggs preoccupied trying to get Wales into the Euros, Paul Scholes - who was suspended for the final - comes in.
