BEING pa for the course has never felt so special.

Danny Willett took son Zacharia, two, round the Masters' Par Three course - reliving memories of 2016 when the England star dashed off from the main Augusta circuit to share victory celebrations with the then 12-day-old baby boy.

Willett landed his famous comeback triumph that year with a five-under-par closing round of 67 after defending champion Jordan Spieth crumbled.

But the Yorkshireman, now 30, only had eyes for wife Nicole and their baby, who was born early.

Willett looked relaxed and confident as he practiced today.

But it must have brought back emotions on and off the course from 2016.

He has even claimed his victory was partly down to his son.

And not only that, Willett admitted he was unsure which half of his proud double was the more special achievement - winning the Major or being at Zachariah's birth.

He said at the time of his Augusta triumph: "It would have been easy to be distracted by everything that was going on but my thought processes were good all week.

"I think becoming a father for the first time really helped in the build-up and I took a relaxed frame of mind into the tournament."

And of his triumphant feeling, Willett added: "Im not sure Ive got the words to describe it.

"Its absolutely mind-boggling.

"I didnt think anything could come close to being there at the birth of my son but winning the Green Jacket probably matches it. Is that a politically correct thing to say?"
