PAUL SCHOLES proved his genius stretches further than the football pitch with this amazing golf shot.
The Manchester United legend was a celebrity guest in the Pro-Am at Wentworth yesterday but looked right at home on the course.
Scholes, 43, nailed a challenge to make a shot from a bunker posed to him live on air by Sky Sports.
After a few practise swings, the ex-England ace chipped perfectly and saw his ball trickle into the hole.
Scholes, renowned for his pinpoint accuracy on the pitch, was hailed by his former team-mate Phil Neville.
He shared the footage on his Instagram account, captioned: "Genius on the course as well!"
Scholes, who has a handicap of ten, was joined by Michael Carrick, Teddy Sheringham and Rory McIlroy at the event.
They were just one of a number of star-studded groups to take to the course.
Pep Guardiola, Peter Schmeichel and Matt Le Tissier played alongside Tommy Fleetwood while Alan Shearer, Ian Wright and Gianfranco Zola went out with Ian Poulter.
Meanwhile, Scholes has urged Jose Mourinho to be just as ruthless as he is on the course with Paul Pogba.
The 89million midfielder refused to rule out an Old Trafford exit after struggling this season.
Scholes said: "Once the season is over and players meet up with their international teams there are always some comments made.
"But look, if players arent happy, let them go. Thats always the way I feel about it.
He added: "Pogba has been just okay this season for a player of his quality.
"Theres still time. Hes only been there a couple of years and hes still a youngish player.
Lets hope he produces more of his Juventus form next season.
